Our team had another successful Hearts and Hammers Project Day! Giving back to our community is so important to us at Creative Homes, and we could not be more grateful for the opportunity to help out deserving individuals in our backyard. For the first time ever, we were able to help restore two unique homes.
Aaron's Crew with homeowner, Joanne! She is an 85-year-old veteran who has lived in her house coming on 60 years.
Ray's Crew with homeowner, Marcia! Marcia spent her career working with children for the state of Minnesota and just celebrated her 86th birthday!
President, Nick Hackworthy, giving Marcia a birthday present from the team (a $1,000 gift card to her favorite store, Fleet Farm).
We partner with Hearts and hammers annually to restore and repair the homes of senior citizens and the disabled on their Project Day to help deserving homeowners continue living independently in their own homes. Each year, we spend a day together as a team working to make the exterior of the home weatherproof, safe, and beautiful. We immerse ourselves into a meaningful day of painting, landscaping, yard cleaning, and exterior home repairs knowing it will make a lasting impression on those who call it home. We believe everyone deserves to have a safe and well-maintained home, and we are honored to use our expertise to help make that happen.
Hearts and Hammers is one of many organizations that we are so proud to be a part of! If you're interested in donating, volunteering or learning more about Hearts and Hammers click here: https://heartsandhammers.org/
At Creative Homes, giving back is embedded into who we are. We partner with many different non-profits located around the Twin Cities, giving back our time, money, and other resources. Our team is so thankful for the opportunity to give back to the communities that we serve and look forward to more days like today. Thanks again to Hearts and Hammers for a great day of improving our community!
