Giving back of our time, money, and resources is embedded to who we are at Creative Homes. To do this, we partner with many different non-profits located around the Twin Cities. We believe it is important to give back to the communities that we serve. Below are a few of the non-profits we give back to on an annual basis, specifically in 2018.
We partner with Hearts and hammers annually to restore and repair the homes of senior citizens and the disabled on their Project Day.. Hearts and Hammers allows deserving homeowners to continue living independently in their own homes by restoring them to ensure they are weatherproof, safe, and beautiful.
Each year, our team along with our trade partners and our families spend a day together working on our assigned home to make it new again! We immerse ourselves into a meaningful day of painting, landscaping, yard cleaning, and exterior home repairs knowing it will make a lasting impression on those who call it home. We believe everyone deserves to have a safe and well-maintained home, and we are honored to use our expertise to help make that happen. You can read about our 2018 Project day here.
In addition to our various employees serving on several BATC-Housing First committees, and our President serving on the Board of Directors, we are committed to sponsoring the BATC -Housing First Minnesota Foundation.
The BATC -Housing First Minnesota Foundation's mission is to create safe, quality, and affordable housing for communities around the Twin Cities metro area. This year, we sponsored the Hearts in Housing Gala and the annual golf event. You can read about the gala here.
The mission of Hope Academy is to foster hope in God within the inner-city neighborhoods of Minneapolis by providing youth with a remarkable, God-centered education. In addition to giving annually as a company, a member of the Creative Homes team sits of the board of directors for this school.
The Boy Scouts of America relies on dedicated volunteers to promote its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime. Several Creative Homes employees are Eagle scouts and continue to provide scouting youth with leadership and mentoring opportunities. In addition to our employees giving back, Creative Homes is a proud financial sponsor of local troops within the Hudson community as well.
Hudson Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit organization that serves the community by raising funds to support local health-related projects.
The Hudson Boosters program provides excellent baseball, softball, and football programs for the youth in the community creating organized competition in a safe environment while teaching sportsmanship, discipline, and a love for the game. Creative Homes is proud to sponsor the Hudson Boosters in various ways including the Booster Days parade, monetary gifts, and other event participation.
Bridge for Youth with Disabilities is an organization devoted to providing opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities in lifelong learning, work, and leisure opportunities. Creative Homes is proud to sponsor their Bowl-A-Rama Fundraiser and Golf Event.
