Creative Homes is listed among the Star Tribune's Top 200 companies, ranking #5 in the small companies category. This is the third year in a row Creative Homes has been named a Top Workplace and our best ranking so far at #5 this year!

The evaluation of the Top Workplaces is based on feedback provided in a survey completed by our team members earlier this year. The survey focuses on several areas that are factors in determining organizational health including, alignment, effectiveness, connection, engagement, management, leadership, compensation/training and diversity. The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. This year, 4,246 organizations were invited to participate in the survey, and 79,658 employees shared their views. The Star Tribune used this information to make their Top Workplaces designations with 309 companies making the winners list.
We are honored to be included in the list of Top Workplaces, especially since the results came from our very own team members. Time and time again Creative Homes' employees mention the fun culture and passion! Survey results of employees in 2020, 2021 & 2022 showed a common theme of words including fun, team, and energy. We really had a great home building experience with Creative. Our home was completed on schedule and they worked closely with us on every aspect of the project. Our site supervisor was incredible – he was catching things before we even noticed them and had them remedied quickly and to our standards. Overall, we would highly recommend Creative and would build with them again in the future.
From the initial conversations and choosing our lot and floor plan, to our design meeting and the actual build itself Creative's team made us feel at ease and went above and beyond. We felt like they truly cared and looked out for our best interests.
